The core operating principle follows the proven planetary gear train architecture: a central sun gear is driven by the servo motor, multiple planet gears rotate around the sun gear within a fixed internal ring gear, and the planet carrier transmits the reduced speed and multiplied torque to the output shaft. The SEX series employs helical gear design that provides smoother and more stable gear meshing, reducing noise and vibration while improving load-carrying capacity. The in-line (coaxial) design ensures that input and output shafts are aligned on the same axis, delivering straightforward mechanical integration and minimal space requirements. Reduction ratios typically range from 3:1 to 100:1 in single, two-stage, or three-stage configurations, providing flexible speed reduction options for diverse applications.
Key performance parameters for the SEX series include: low backlash with precision variants offering minimal angular play; high output torque capacity depending on frame size; high transmission efficiency reaching up to 96%; and low noise operation typically below 65dB. Structural and material features of the SEX series include: high-rigidity housing constructed from high-strength materials for good damping and structural integrity; precision-ground helical gears manufactured from case-carburized high-strength alloy steel with heat treatment for enhanced surface hardness and wear resistance; gear grinding precision achieving high accuracy standards; high-quality bearings selected to handle combined radial and axial loads; optimized oil seals to enhance transmission efficiency and prevent lubricant leakage; and factory-filled lubrication designed for reliable operation over the product's service life. The surface is finished with baked paint treatment to ensure appearance stability and corrosion resistance.
